Executive Management Team - responsible for the successful privatization
of a major crown agency, including strategic repositioning, new market
and business development and cultural revitalization of the company.
Member of the Executive Committee of the Board - worked closely with the
Chairman and President in formulating objectives and strategies for growth
and increased profitability of operations; achieved successful implementation,
significantly improving return on investment .
Grew a junior industrial company, manufacturing locally in Toronto, to
Canada’s largest industrial hard packaging company through a major
acquisition program and new product lines. Completed and filed a prospectus
for issue of common stock on TSE and NASDAQ to finance this growth.
Worked in tandem with marketing personnel in foreign and domestic supplier
relations, administration of major contracts and the development of strategies
for greater market penetration and coverage.
Directed the financial and tax components on the Executive team that negotiated,
with the Federal Government and its agencies, the capital, operational
and funding issues for the strategic supply of radioisotopes to the world’s
nuclear medicine community, thereby ensuring the long term viability of
the business.
Directed the successful private placement of $15 million of convertible
debentures to finance capital expansion and improvements.
