SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
For a major public electrical utility, managed The Corporate Facilities Improvement Program, which addresses end of life replacement of corporate buildings and interior office systems throughout the Greater Vancouver Region. The scope of work includes the fit-up of 50 office floors from for a total of 600,000 square feet of office tenant improvements and a projected budget of $117 million dollars.
For a major provincial health authority, delivered a feasibility study for the consolidation of office and clinical facilities into an existing 250,000 square foot building in Surrey, BC. Bob led the development of the multi-phase study which included initial building assessment, high level programming and conceptual design, base building & tenant improvement cost estimation and project risk identification.
For a major national restaurant company, directed the opening of over 30 new fully service franchised restaurants in Western Canada adding over 60 million dollars to system sales.
For a provincial crown Insurance Corporation, managed ongoing tenant improvement and renovation projects for a large building portfolio. He initiated a comprehensive maintenance program for all owned buildings resulting in increased asset protection.
Successfully redeveloped and restored an historic 25,000 sq.ft public school building for a not for profit independent school, in partnership with a residential real estate developer.
Spearheaded the acquisition and conversion of a former high tech office building to a private educational facility.
As part of an acquisition and merger, led a strategic real estate review for a home entertainment retail brand. Developed and implemented a strategic plan for store re-locations, renovations and new store site selection.
