recall, including acting as corporate spokesperson with the media and
key liaison with Federal and Provincial Government officials.
Conducted comprehensive marketplace assessment, developed the business
plan and assisted in launching a leading Canadian web site for personal
investors.
Collaborated with industry partners and the Federal Government in the
development of a significant new government program, which dramatically
increased public participation in education savings plans.
Following the total recall and subsequent withdrawal of a well-known brand
from the market, developed the relaunch marketing plan and directed the
successful reintroduction into the Canadian market. The brand recovered
a substantial portion of pre-recall share of market.
Key member of multi-national team which negotiated a Memorandum of Understanding
with the Federal Government leading to a substantial overhaul of regulatory
oversight of the industry. These changes maintained regulatory protection
