SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Supervised the integration of companies newly-acquired by Gaz Métropolitain, namely Gaz Inter-Cité Québec in Quebec City and North Provincial Gaz in Rouyn-Noranda, the merging of which resulted in a reduction of 250 jobs.

Participated in the reorganization of Gaz Métropolitain, resulting in the reduction of more than 100 management positions and the elimination of two management levels; this reorganization resulted in a reduction of $10 million in operating costs.

Negotiated with a US firm specialized in DSM (Demand Side Management) a royalty contract in order to establish in Quebec an Energy Service Company (ESCO).

Supervised the union membership of Gaz Inter-Cité Québec ex-employees and testified before the Work Commissioner in order to integrate new employees into the union certified at Gaz Métropolitain.

Achieved a sales record of 8.8 billion cubic feet of natural gas, generating a $30 million gross margin and a 27% internal rate of return, thereby dramatically exceeding the previous year's average of 6 billion cubic feet.

Supervised the construction of the new head office within the allocated budget of $10 million and the construction schedule set by Gaz Métropolitain. Hired the project manager, the architect, the engineers and the general contractor.
