Started a full service communications company that grew to 65 employees and capitalized billings of $28M. Key accounts included ReMax, Esso, General Tire, Coca-Cola and Toyota.

In the Executive Vice-President role at an advertising trade association:
     • Published 2 books on the power and effective use of advertising
     • Launched first ever cross-border marketing initiative “Push the Boundaries”, to increase sales of
       Canadian advertising services in the U.S.
     • Launched Best Practice programs for member advertising agencies, focused on: managing
       better client/agency relationships, remuneration agreements and negotiating strategies for remuneration contracts

While President of a Radio Broadcast Marketing association:
     • Created and drove initiatives that aided in increasing industry revenue 37% over 8 years to $1.3B
     • Rebuilt and rebranded the association as a pro-active business partner, sharing industry best practices
       with all stakeholders (agencies, marketers and broadcasters)
     • To harness talent, generate insights and gain buy-in to association goals and initiatives, created a
       Strategic Planning Committee that included leading industry CEOs.
     • Developed case study driven research to provide empirical data on the value of radio in the advertising mix
       from a ROI perspective
     • To motivate sales people and advertisers to action post 9/11, pro-actively published an
       advertising economic review entitled “aggressive optimism”
