SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Managed the migration of Human Resource services to established off-shore facilities. Provided customer service through an organization mantra of “one team servicing multiple clients”. Met client’s expectations through regular communication, clear definition of standards and Key Performance Indicators. This effort resulted in significant savings for the organizations involved.

Initiated change to corporate rewards systems after benchmark comparisons with key competitors. Developed and launched an employee communication program that focused on total rewards program which allowed company to make adjustments to individual compensation factors reducing costs and still retaining employees.

Implemented a managed drug care program and gained the voluntary support of 50% of retirees to move to a co-pay drug program that significantly reduced corporate unfunded liabilities.

Established the direction for corporate pension education program and enhanced governance procedures for pension administration.

Rolled out cafeteria style benefits program across manufacturing operations and led communications on the introduction of new pension benefits.

Orchestrated the Human Resources aspects of the closure of three plants with no labour disruptions or legal claims. Developed and delivered communications at the plant level regarding timing and implications of closures and provided employees with support in obtaining new employment opportunities.

Worked with senior management to plan the North American rationalization of manufacturing operations.
