Introduced a new cold-chain delivery system for over $30 million worth of perishable raw material, resulting in measurable improvement in shelf life and processing yields

Developed both a short-term, tactical business plan to increase cash flow from existing operations and a long term, strategic plan for new product and production expansion for an organic fertilizer manufacturer

Applied lean manufacturing principles and plant floor metrics in processing operations to increase labour efficiency and reduce costs by $250,000 a year

Re-structured a collective agreement to align wage rates with current labour market conditions and maintain a competitive cost structure

Led an inefficient, seasonal manufacturing operation toward a levelled output plan that uses both human and capital resources more efficiently and is more responsive to supply chain issues

Established a comprehensive health, safety and absenteeism management program and reduced year over year compensation claims by over $200,000

Implemented annual RFP procedure for transparent management of $2 million in inbound freighting contracts; service was improved, costs kept under control and management accountability was enhanced

Designed and implemented effective system for accurate field grading of delivered fish ensuring fair return to harvesters and eliminating economic distortions from product costing.
