SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Led in the strategic planning, execution and launch of multiple new drugs in Canada that collectively generated sales of over $2B in Canada since launch

Executed valuations of multiple products and companies for licensing and M & A negotiations

Spear-headed a highly successful lobbying effort for a multi-national pharmaceutical company with the provincial ministries of health that resulted in first year additions of over $30MM to provincial drug budgets

Initiated the first Hospital Pharmacy Survey with an Editorial Board of Hospital Directors to produce and launch a best practices report that became a standard for the continuous improvement of hospital pharmacy practice across Canada

Led the development and commercialization joint venture with a leading Indian pharmaceutical company leading to clinical assessment of an oncology drug for ovarian cancer

Industry spokesperson in a new therapeutic area now representing over $100MM a year in HIV drug sales

Helped create drug distribution guidelines for the Canadian drug wholesale industry

Built a new training department and implemented a company- wide training and development program which resulted in a series of successful product launches supporting the transition of an 18th position pharmaceutical company into a top ten performer with annual sales of over $100MM within five years

Designed and built a highly profitable specialized drug marketing and sales business unit within a multi-national drug company in Canada which successfully launched four specialty drugs over three years resulting in over $500MM in sales since launch

Built and led a start-up vaccine company that successfully developed a flu vaccine that led to acquisition by a larger company INCREASING shareholder value from $20MM to over $100MM in two years.

Led multiple financing initiatives which successfully raised over $60MM in venture capital to support new product development in three start-up companies including funds from government grants, venture capital firms and high net worth investors
