Successfully brought a time-limited (three year) independent high profile commission studying contentious public policy issues to conclusion within budget and on time.
Assembled and directed the multi-disciplinary team responsible for social assistance legislation, culminating in the first new legislation in thirty years - legislation which reflects today's economic and social realities.
Led a feasibility study of the applicability of ISO 9000 to a Ministry of the Provincial Government resulting in certification of selected business units.
Directed the co-ordination of government strategies and designed an innovative program that moves the homeless off the streets and into shelter.
Managed analysis of government options for response to an independent study of a conflicted, multi-billion dollar social assistance system with a resulting $415M plan of improvements.
Co-chaired a task force of senior municipal and provincial staff which authored a public action plan for local government to realign delivery of social housing, child care and social assistance in ways that achieve savings and improve service.
Executive responsibility for alignment and execution of policy analysis, program development and monitoring of delivery for provincial and municipal social assistance programs.
Developed strategy for service system to assist severely handicapped adults to live independently in the community.
