THE CLIENT: Not for Profit Organization

THE CHALLENGE

Numerous projects required simultaneous initiation, development and implementation within a specified timeframe.

THE APPROACH

Management recognized the need to engage and utilize a senior project manager for the prioritization, planning and implementation of several organizational and provincially mandated initiatives requiring the delivery of fully integrated services to consumers. There was also a requirement to mentor management and staff in the appropriate and practical use of the project methodologies and disciplines.

THE RESULT

· Developed and implemented a process for identifying, reviewing and prioritizing organizational and/or external strategic, operational and tactical projects.

· Developed and implemented a generic project resource identification and utilization process for identifying capacity and capability of the organization to deliver simultaneously and/or sequentially prioritized projects.

· Initiated, developed and implemented the appropriate supporting infrastructure for a provincially mandated Crisis Response Service.

· Integrated a Client Information System which established the overall terms of reference and timing for the full integration of primary data support systems.

· Developed a framework for the delivery of a Planned Giving Program.

· Restructured the Case Flow Process for the purposes of streamlining and making the assessment and treatment practices and processes more efficient and cost effective in terms of delivering services to clients.

· Established the framework for initiating the process of Accreditation.

· Established and changed key support services and related communications associated to the operation of the infrastructure in the new consolidated building.

· Facilitated the process of reviewing and upgrading all desktop and backroom hardware and software to support new business, data and information requirements of the organization.
