SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Planned and managed the migration of Human Resource services to established off-shore facilities. Enhanced customer service through an organization mantra of “one team servicing multiple clients”. This effort generated over 30% savings for the organizations involved.

Orchestrated the Human Resources aspects of the closure of three plants with no labour disruptions or legal claims. Developed and delivered communications at the plant level regarding timing and implications of closures and provided employees with support in obtaining new employment opportunities.

Initiated change to corporate rewards systems after benchmark comparisons with key competitors.

Developed and launched an employee communication program that focused on total rewards program which allowed company to reduce costs and still retain employees.

Implemented a managed drug care program and gained the voluntary support of 50% of retirees to move to a co-pay drug program that reduced corporate unfunded liabilities.

Established corporate pension education program and strengthened governance procedures for pension administration.

Rolled out flexible benefits program across manufacturing operations and led communications on the introduction of new pension benefits.
