An innovative and solutions-focused executive, Sue specialises in not-for-profit management, government relations, and program planning, design and delivery. Sue is a strategic thinker who has spent more than 25 years applying her leadership skills and commitment to service excellence in a diversity of initiatives including: agency and program start-up, stakeholder engagement, policy development and project management. The focus of Sue’s successful career, in both the community and government sectors, has been working with, and on behalf of, groups of people who face systemic barriers to health, employment, social inclusion, and accessing necessary community and institutional services and supports.

Led the start-up and establishment of a new primary care organization by providing interim executive leadership to establish organizational priorities, organizational design, and accountability structure, as well as leading the executive recruitment process.
Secured funding for a new agency through a complex stakeholder engagement and community consultation process, including needs assessment, program design, and proposal development.
Developed and implemented programs and services to support the government’s commitment to recruit and retain physicians and other health professionals.
Led the successful integration of a newly regulated health profession into Ontario’s health care system through extensive collaboration with a diverse stakeholder group, development of a funding model and accountability framework and establishment of program policies, direction and procedures.
