Interim Executive Director, Family Association for Mental Health Everywhere (FAME). FAME is a 25+ year community mental health organization. Their focus is on assisting families who have a loved one with mental health issues by providing support and education for the family involved. As the Interim ED, I brought a breadth of skills and a steady hand to the organization in a time of crisis and was able to care for the staff, reassure the Board, satisfy the organization’s funders, help select a new ED and set the organization on a path for moving forward.

Northlea United Church (Northlea) Strategic Visioning. Northlea, a small United Church congregation located in Toronto’s North Leaside community, recently merged with another United Church congregation. As part of a two Principal team, we conducted a visioning process that engaged Northlea leadership, the merged congregation, and the wider community in identifying opportunities for spiritual and community service growth, and the development of a plan to pursue a selected vision for the future. The vision also included a plan for the renovation and repurposing of the physical facility. The end result was a successful proposal to the United Church approving body to use the funds from the sale of church property to move forward in support of the new Northlea vision.
