Over the last ten years, Margaret’s work has focused on the development, start-up and on-going operations of shared services and merged organizations in Ontario’s public sector. These shared services organizations operate across the province and include hospitals, educational institutions and social services agencies. Successfully launching a shared service or negotiating a merger requires an indepth understanding and recognition of the governance and operating environment of each participating organization. If your private or public sector organization is considering options for collaborating, sharing or merging a part, or all, of your operations, Margaret will work with you to create a modern, efficient, achievable vision and transformation plan for your organization.
Connecting technical and business objectives
With both an engineering and business education, Margaret comfortably navigates with her clients and their stakeholders, between complex technical issues and strategic business objectives. She quickly builds relationships with Board leadership, business management and frontline service delivery staff to understand the underlying issues and complexities of the business environment. Margaret designs and delivers training and meeting facilitation programs that incorporate technical and business concepts. When your organization has a unique need for facilitation or business training, Margaret will work with you to design and deliver content that has an impact.
